Collecting/Preserving

Offers & Events of the Association

One of the main focuses of the German-Baltic Cultural Association is the research and communication of German-Baltic cultural heritage through academic publications, organising seminars and actively collecting cultural artefacts.

1

Collection of tangible cultural artifacts

The Cultural Association accepts German-Baltic cultural assets as donations or loans in order to store them safely, research them and, by arrangement, exhibit them, for example in the German-Baltic Department of the East Prussian Museum in Lüneburg.

2

Organisation of
seminars

In cooperation with other scientific institutions and cultural organisations, the association regularly organises events focusing on the historical, current and future heritage of the Baltic Germans.

3

Publication of scientific literature

For over seventy years, the Carl- Schirren Society has been publishing articles on the history and culture of the Baltic Germans, including physical works such as the Yearbooks of Baltic German Culture and the Digital Series.
